I don't write many news updates, because things generally stay the same: E says funny shit, I post it. It's pretty simple.
However, over the last few days traffic to this site has exploded, due in no small part to reddit.com and fazed.net. (Thanks guys!) I didn't even know until I got 106 MySpace friend requests in one day. Holy crap!
Just so everyone's aware, yes, this site is still updated regularly, and YES THE FEED IS BROKEN, I know, I just find RSS so tedious it hurts me. I promise I'll get on it.
Instead of pressing issues like the RSS feed, instead I made it possible for you to tell everyone how funny your boyfriend is. I get dozens of emails every week from people saying "Yeah? My boyfriend's pretty funny too." I bet he is! You should wear one of these shirts and let everyone else know! (Guys, they make great gifts! The funniest thing out of all of this is that E's still kind of mystified by this entire ordeal, so feel free to send email to theboyfriend @ thingsmyboyfriendsays . com and tell him that he's awesome. Because he is. And, incredibly, he doesn't believe he's funny.
Thanks to everyone who reads, responds, tells their friends, has a good chuckle at work, and spreads the love. Now go tell your friends at big Hollywood production companies and get E a television writing job. (I'm kidding. Sort of.)

So yesterday this site was posted at www.i-am-bored.com, which resulted in 10,000 hits in the first few hours that it was up. Craziness! For real!

Wow, this got popular quick. An average of 3,000 hits a day and growing. E doesn't believe me when I tell him that people think he's funny. It's weird that I get ten times the fan mail he does - I'm just the messanger, people!
If you're on LiveJournal, you can now get things E says through syndication that you can view on your friends list! Subscribe to the feed by searching "boyfriend_says" on LiveJournal.
Thanks also to everyone who sent a couple of bucks (all four of you!). We're saving them up until we have enough to buy something completely irresponsible, which might take till 2054 but we'll get that gold rocket horse eventually.
My server stats show me the search strings that lead people to this site; a lot of them are pretty funny. I didn't know that putting "stab your boyfriend" into Google somehow brings you here. Now I do. And you do too.
